 USA 1st Who are we?

USA 1st News

Who we are

What can USA1st accomplish in one hour at your school, church, organization, or company? The easy answer would be simply to say: a lot.

But before answering that question, let’s list what USA1st does not do:

  • USA1st does not do seminars
  • USA1st does not do lectures
  • USA1st does not do meetings
  • USA1st does not do shows

All right then, what do we do?

In brief, USA1st does events, and not just any old event, but memorable events with a powerful message; unique and singular events. Getting the picture now?

An event is defined as (a) something that happens at a given place and time, (b) a special set of circumstances that often leads to action, and (c) a notable occurrence of social or personal importance. USA1st produces singular events, which brings to mind words like remarkable, striking, unique.

So what exactly does USA1st do? Not yet. First a little background.

In today’s politically charged and polarized atmosphere, USA1st seeks a common ground on which all may stand together. This common ground is based on patriotism, on love of country, on being proud to be an American first and foremost. This includes learning about our past, of how we became such a great country, which can help us find a better future.

USA1st believes that we all have a lot in common, despite the various words we use to label ourselves. We also believe that the flag, the eagle and the Statue of Liberty are not empty symbols of our country, but vibrant, active symbols of all that is good about America.

USA1st believes that we need to focus on our children if the United States of America is to remain the greatest country in the history of the world. If we don’t take the time to engage our children with what has made us great, then we stand the chance that the country will deteriorate because of lack of attention, like a vine that isn’t watered.

That’s the purpose of the USA1st event: to show our children in a modern, authoritative and entertaining way the uniqueness of America and what must be done to preserve its greatness.

Now, on to the show! The USA1st event is multimedia, with video, current music and live speakers. The event also has special effects, audience participation, and even a live DJ for the music. It is designed to appeal to the students by delivering our important message in a way they can relate to and enjoy.

We show a carefully choreographed series of Truths about America and the world, shown sometimes in unvarnished images, e.g., starving children in other, less fortunate countries. These emotional visuals act as a catalyst to bring together students, their parents, and teachers into conversations regarding America, patriotism and the importance of rededicating ourselves to preserving our country’s greatness.

The images we show and the information we share about other countries, where children may be forced to work or even join the military as young as 12 years old, are designed to show the contrast between the lives of children in America compared to the rest of the world. This gives us a baseline to begin conversing about what it really means to be a citizen of this country. The differences may be stark, but they clearly show the many benefits we enjoy as Americans.

USA1st pulls no punches during the event, as our aim is to get people talking, not about who is at fault for past mistakes, but about what we can do – together – to effect change in how we look at America. The key to our event is very simple: tell the truth and do it in an awe-inspiring way so the message will be remembered. We can do this. Together.

What better place to bring us all together on the common ground of love of country than in our schools?

The event evokes joy, sadness, pride and patriotism, but it also provides a positive learning activity that can be a successful fundraising opportunity. We at USA1st agree that raising funds is always a challenge, but especially so today. Bake sales, bingo/casino nights or wrapping paper sales just don’t work all that well any more.

But with our program, schools can combine a meaningful and entertaining hour of positive messages about America with the opportunity to raise a substantial amount of money, through sponsorships, concessions and other activities.
